Some curious minds at iFixit have discovered a Broadcom Bluetooth chipset inside the iPod touch 2G. The chipset apparently supports 2.1+EDR although there’s no mention of it on the product page. There’s no confirmation on whether the chipset can get you A2DP music to your wireless headphones.
